AUSTRADE – Export Market Development Grant – Round 2 is Now Open!
Austrade’s Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) program helps Australian businesses grow their exports in international markets.
These grants encourage small to medium enterprises to market and promote their goods and services globally. The program supports Australian exporters.
Each year, it helps between 3,000 and 5,300 Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) start or expand their export business.
Applications for EMDG’s Round Two opened on Wednesday 6 July 2022 at 9:00 am AEST for 6 weeks, closing at 4:00 pm AEST on Wednesday 17 August 2022.
EMDG is an eligibility-based, demand-driven program. This means all eligible applicants receive a grant from the available funds. Grants are not based on the maximum grant tier caps.
The grant amount depends on the number of eligible applications in the round (referred to as demand) and the available program budget to be shared among all eligible applicants.
Applications must be submitted via the EMDG Online Portal.
