Board Member – 2026 Appointments

Regional Development Australia Tropical North (RDATN) is seeking a highly motivated, values-driven individual to join its Board and contribute to the strategic leadership of Tropical North Queensland.

RDATN plays a critical role in driving regional economic development by facilitating investment in people, places and industries, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring regional priorities inform Australian Government decision-making.

Board Members contribute at a strategic and governance level, providing leadership and stewardship, guiding place-based economic development, and advocating for the opportunities and needs of the region.

Applications are being sought from business and community leaders who have a proven track record of achieving meaningful outcomes in a complex environment.

As a volunteer board member, you will possess expertise that strengthens the collective capability of the Board. Applicants should demonstrate strategic thinking, sound judgement and the ability to contribute to effective governance, informed decision-making and the long-term sustainability of the organisation.

In this recruitment round, applicants with qualifications or experience in financial management, accounting, audit, corporate governance and risk management are particularly encouraged to apply.
