RDA Tropical North forms part of a network of 50 committees across Australia’s capital cities and regions, including the Indian Ocean Territories, Norfolk Island and Jervis Bay Territory.  We operate within a regional economic development framework to promote long-term regional economic and social growth to achieve our vision of being the thriving, diverse and sustainable powerhouse of Northern Australia, linking the nation to the Indo-Pacific.  Our region encompasses 21 local government areas from the Torres Strait, Cape York to Croydon, south to Cardwell and north up the tropical coast.   The 11 member RDATN Board are volunteers drawn from the region and who bring leadership, skills and experience from the community, business, local government and not-for-profit organisations.

Office Coordinator – Part-Time (4 days)
Permanent Part-Time | $75,000 p.a (pro rata 0.8 FTE) + super + salary sacrificing + 5 weeks leave

Regional Development Australia Tropical North (RDATN) seeks a highly organised and experienced Office Coordinator to support the Chief Executive Officer and Board in driving strategic regional development across Far North Queensland.

This diverse and rewarding role will suit a seasoned administrator who values integrity, independence, and precision. You’ll bring initiative, excellent judgement, and governance experience — ensuring our operations run smoothly and professionally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide executive and governance support to the CEO and Board
  • Manage office operations, logistics, and stakeholder communications
  • Assist with finance, audits, and compliance reporting
  • Coordinate meetings, travel, and events
