Melinda Eades is an experienced executive leader with a 25 year career spanning governance, policy, and regional development across Tropical North Queensland and Northern Australia. She currently serves as Executive Manager at Community Enterprise Queensland, leading strategic planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and community impact programs across remote Indigenous communities. Melinda has held senior roles with the Torres Strait Regional Authority, Queensland Treasury, the Torres Cape Indigenous Council Alliance and regional economic development organisations. She is known for her strategic judgment, collaboration and delivery in complex environments. A long term Cairns resident, she is committed to strengthening regional prosperity. Melinda holds a Law degree and postgraduate environmental qualifications.
