Anita Veivers is Executive Director of Centacare FNQ and a highly respected community sector leader with over 30 years’ experience across Far North Queensland. She has led significant organisational growth, strengthened governance and financial performance, and delivered innovative place-based services across mental health, disability, employment and family support.

A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Anita brings strong governance and board experience, including service on national, regional and state advisory bodies and organisations.

Anita  is committed to collaborative regional development that strengthens economic participation, social wellbeing and long-term community resilience.

With a values‑driven, collaborative approach Anita is pleased to contribute her skills and local knowledge as a member of the Regional Development Australia Board.
