Commitment to minimal domestic schedule…


Qantas and Virgin Australia have announced they will resume flying a minimal domestic schedule of commercial services to transport passengers and keep important freight corridors open during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This will see the number of passenger flights they operate increase from 105 per week currently to 164 per week to all capital cities and 36 regional destinations.


Qantas’s additional flights will be fully operational by Monday 20 April. The flight routes can be viewed HERE.

Virgin Australia

VA’s schedule will operate for a period of eight weeks, until 7 June, and fares routes are gradually being released for sale. The flight routes can be viewed HERE.
